Custom Type Frame Plugin for Final Cut Pro

Download the custom type frame plugin for Final Cut Pro X.

Install the Plugin Effect – Instructions

1. Download the ZIP file (Rounded Rectangle.zip).

2. Create a Folder titled ‘Ben Halsall’ in Your Movies Folder that you will find here:

Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Users⁩ ▸ ⁨<your username>⁩ ▸ Movies⁩ ▸ Motion Templates⁩ ▸ Titles

3. Unzip and copy the folder ‘Rounded Rectangle’ to the folder ‘Ben Halsall’.

4. Open Final Cut Pro X and your new plugin will appear in your Titles panel for you to go ahead and use.

6. Drag the title onto the timeline and use the options in the Inspector to adjust your clips position.

Software & Timeline Requirements

Latest version of Final Cut Pro X required.

*Titles Folder Doesn't Exist

If the folder Effects does not exist you will need to create a new folder. It should be named Titles.localized and then you can create the folder Ben Halsall inside that.
